To “believe” the truth is synonymous with OBEYING the truth/ DOING the truth/ YIELDING TO the truth, having faith in the truth/ loving the truth, trusting Jesus (the truth Jn 14:6)
Jhn 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Deuteronomy 11:26–28
Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
27 ➡️A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God,
28 ➡️And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments ⬅️of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
Deuteronomy 13:4
Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and ➡️keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.⬅️
Deuteronomy 28:1–2
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt ➡️hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee⬅️ this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

Deuteronomy 30:19–20
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore ➡️choose life⬅️, [Eternal life is a CHOICE- your choice. You are not predestined to heaven or hell. You will be judged according to what you have done, or failed to do. [2Cor 5:10-11a; Jn 5:28-29]

CURSED FOR DISOBEDIENCE

(As when they forsook God, desired to return to Egypt, and worshiped the golden calf m, while Moses was in the mountain getting the 10 Commandments. When he came down, they were slain who refused to repent. They “believed not” by their actions.)
Tit 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Mat 15:7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
Mat 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with theirlips; but their heart is far from me.

In the wilderness, they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

1Co 10:6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent 👉we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.👈
We’re all subject to like passions. Let’s obey God, and deny them any power over us. Resist the seduction of Satan, who says “you will not surely die if you disobey God. 🐲🐉 Trust me, my child. You will have peace and safety! You can be a god all by yourself without having to do what he said”.
1Co 10:7 Neither be ye *idolaters, as weresome of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
Rev 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, 👉that *THEY SHOULD NOT WORSHIP DEVILS… 👈…

23 👉And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, “Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness”, and he was called the Friend of God.

1 Peter 1:14–16 ➡️As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts ⬅️ in your ignorance:

1 John 2:3–4 And hereby we do know that we know him, IF WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS.
4 HE THAT SAYS “I KNOW HIM”, but doesn’t keep his commandments IS A LIAR, and the truth is not in him.⬅️
1 John 3:23–24 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
24 And ➡️ he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him.⬅️➡️And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.⬅️
1 John 5:1–5 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

5 Who is he that overcomers the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
Rev 3:5 👉He that *OVERCOMES*, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life👈 but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Rev 3:6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Rev 12:11 And they *OVERCAME* him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Revelation 14:12
Here is the patience of the saints: here are 👉they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.👈 (they are ONE)
Act 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, (gentiles) 👉REPENTANCE toward God, AND FAITH👈toward our Lord Jesus Christ. (They are Inseperable!)
